This Is For Her

I want to be the one who writes that poem that she reads and is instantly infatuated by it. I want her to be able to recite every word I wrote in her sleep. I want her to be so moved and on the edge of her seat that she needs to bring it to you to read.

I want you to read it and be entranced by every syllable…captivated by every word…mesmerized by every phrase…I want it to trigger all of your senses. Then I want your anxiety to crush your lungs of the air you are breathing and make your brain erupt when you read who the author is.

I want your heart to bleed when you realize:

I wrote it for you…And she loved it.
